1. Description of Service

DoveInvites is an online service that enables users to design, customize, and publish digital wedding invitations hosted on private web links. We provide digital invitation hosting and RSVP management services. We do not print or ship physical invitations or products.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you possess the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. User Accounts and Security

To create and publish an invitation, you must register for an account. We use Better Auth with secure HTTP-only session cookies, backed by Neon PostgreSQL. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your account.

Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.

4. User Content and Ownership

You retain full ownership of all text, images, photos, and other content you upload to our platform. We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.

By uploading content, you grant DoveInvites a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, host, and display your content solely for the purpose of generating, publishing, and running your custom digital invitation website.

Content Permissions: You warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, and rights to upload and display all content (including copyrighted images or photography) used in your invitations.

5. Prohibited Content and Uses

You agree not to upload, publish, or transmit any content or use the platform in a way that:

• Is unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harassing, or invasive of another's privacy.
• Infringes on any intellectual property rights of any party.
• Contains software viruses, malware, or malicious code.
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to our servers, databases, or systems.
• Promotes hate speech, violence, or discrimination of any kind.

6. Intellectual Property

All elements of the DoveInvites platform, including templates, code, layouts, design elements, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of DoveInvites and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, replicate, or resell any part of our templates or platform.

7. Pricing and Payments

We charge a one-time fee to publish your digital invitation website. The pricing for each template is clearly displayed before payment (currently ₹499, subject to the all taxes included). All payments are processed through Razorpay, our secure third-party payment processor.

We do not store your credit/debit card, UPI, or net banking credentials. If a payment fails but funds are debited from your account, Razorpay will handle the reconciliation, and the amount will typically be credited back to your original source account within 5–7 working days.

8. Publishing and Public Invitation Links

When you publish your customized invitation, it generates a public link (URL). Anyone with this link can view the digital invitation and submit RSVP information.

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of all spelling, names, dates, venues, schedules, and maps before publishing. We are not responsible for any errors or spelling mistakes made by the user.

9. Cancellation and Refunds

Your purchase is governed by our Cancellation and Refund Policy. Since our service delivers immediate digital access upon payment, published and delivered invitations are generally non-refundable except under the specific circumstances outlined in the policy.

10. Privacy and Account Deletion

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal details and guest RSVP data.

Account Deletion: If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you must contact our support team at hello@doveinvites.com. Account deletions are processed manually by our administrators.

11. Service Availability and Interruptions

While we strive to maintain high uptime, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may occasionally perform scheduled maintenance or experience temporary server interruptions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or 24/7 active customer support.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoveInvites and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform, including guest list discrepancies, RSVP errors, or loss of uploaded data.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Maharashtra.
