1. Information We Collect

We collect information directly from you when you use our service, as well as automatically when you navigate our platform.

A. Information You Directly Provide:

  • Account details: Email address and profile details collected during registration. We use Better Auth and support password, magic-link, and Google OAuth login.
  • Invitation content: Names of the couple, wedding dates, schedule details, event locations, custom messages, and maps.
  • Photos & Media: Uploaded images used to customize the digital wedding invitation layout. These images are stored securely on Cloudflare R2 storage.
  • RSVP information: Names, attendance responses, guest counts, phone numbers, and dietary preferences submitted by guests on your invitation pages.
  • Support queries: Messages or communication sent to our customer support email or form.

B. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Log data: IP addresses, browser types, operating systems, and timestamps of access.
  • Usage stats: How you interact with our editor, template choices, and loading performance.
  • Cookies: Session cookies necessary to keep you authenticated and store your editor preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • Authentication: Logging you into your dashboard to create, manage, and edit invitations.
  • Invitation Delivery: Compiling, displaying, and hosting your custom digital invitation website on the web.
  • RSVP Processing: Collecting RSVPs from guests and making the aggregated data available on your private dashboard.
  • Payment verification: Processing one-time template activation fees through Razorpay.
  • Customer support: Responding to help tickets, bug reports, and refund requests.
  • Service improvement: Debugging, error monitoring, and enhancing design speeds.

3. Payment Information

All transaction details, card payments, UPI information, and banking credentials are secure and processed directly by our third-party payment gateway, Razorpay. DoveInvites does not collect, receive, or store any sensitive payment card numbers, CVVs, or banking PINs.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share data with external services only as required to operate our platform securely. We do not sell your personal data. Our trusted partners include:

  • Neon: For managed PostgreSQL database storage.
  • Cloudflare, Cloudflare R2, and Cloudflare Email Sending: For application delivery, uploaded media, and transactional authentication emails.
  • Better Auth: The authentication software used to manage secure account sessions.
  • Google: Used for secure login through Google OAuth.
  • Razorpay: Secure payment processing and transaction settlement.

5. Public Invitation Links

When you publish your digital invitation, the generated link is public. Anyone with the URL can access and view the event details.

Important Warning: Avoid publishing highly sensitive personal data, such as private phone numbers, home security details, or personal bank details, on your public invitation page.

6. Cookies and Sessions

Our cookies are primarily technical and session-based. They ensure your login state is preserved across pages and keep your custom designs loaded in the workspace. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so will disable key functionalities of our invitation builder.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account details and invitation configurations as long as your account remains active.

Account Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated custom invitations and guest RSVP data at any time. Because this deletion requires manual processing, please email us directly to request it. When processed by our administrators, all uploaded images on Cloudflare R2 and associated records in Neon PostgreSQL will be permanently erased.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults organizing events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

9. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and revise the "Last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the website after an update represents agreement to the revised policy.
